Big Lagoon State Park

We arrived at our next location at Big Lagoon in Penascola Florida.

The camp ground is located on Big Lagoon Lake. It offers a lot of marsh areas and tall sandy pine trees with a lot of bird life.

Choctawhatchee Bay Boating

We enjoyed a boating adventure with Robert. He had a fabulous fast boat. We opened the twins in the Gulf of Mexico.

Robert ,our friend, our Captain.

We enjoyed a terrific lunch at Boshamps Oyster House. We ate 2 dozen raw oysters on the half shell. Then after a few beers, polished off a Gruper sandwich. We were all smiles after a wonderful lunch.

We were entertained by the porpoises that swam in the bay. We saw them eating and frolicking and it made us realize what a wonderful world it is in Destin, FL.

The pelicans were out feeding

The clouds appeared as a perfect ending to a day sea.

Christmas Day Exploring

We explored east of Destin. We found other state parks in the area. We were imagined how RV'er celebrate Christmas.
Landscaping was beautiful and the towns were beautiful.

A lot of lakes.

We explored a National Frest in the Jeep!
Yes we did go through that puddle!

We had a great time!

We enjoyed our day and celebrated with an awesome sunset!

Christmas Sunset

Christmas in Florida

Merry Christmas Everyone! We are spending our first Christmas on the beach. The sun is shining and ocean breeze is refreshing.

The Christmas spirit is alive and well with our fiber optic Christmas tree. I added a little splash on lights in the background but due to limited extension cord the design lacks. Oh but we had Christmas music that rocked!

Off to our morning walk on the beach!

Henderson State Park, Destin, Florida

We arrived at the RV park, Henderson State Park. We are enjoying the peaceful sounds from the ocean but surrounded by a jungle at our site. A storm came in last night and we appreciated the surrounding vegetation at our site. The wind blew and rained all night. So happy not to wake up to a RV site full of sand!

The boardwalk is a site over which takes us to the beach.

The beach is beautiful. Craig and I took a walk on the beach and enjoyed the sea breeze with our coffee.
