More Hiking with Norma!

Today Norma, Mia and Nancy hiked the Clear Creek Trail in Cinnamon State Park. With all the maps we still had a hard time finding the trail. We even tried a creek crossing on a large log. Mia and Nancy preferred a wet crossing but Norma made it across!

Clear Creek Trail is a fabulous trail but a bit over grown is section. We made it a little over a mile and came to a section which was on the side of the creek. The trail was washed out and felt the ledge was to much for Mia so we enjoyed a rest before going back down.

We were amazed at all the trees which had fallen from the drought a few years ago. The fallen trees allowed flowers and other plants to grown. We also saw a lot of butterflies.

We did not see any wild life but a lot of small waterfalls. Overall a great hike but next time I will leave Mia at home so I can make it to the top of the mountain.
